This policy explains what personal information Marula Nexus (Pty) Ltd collects through marulanexus.co.za, why we collect it, and the choices you have about it.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum needed to keep this site reliable and to respond to enquiries:
- Diagnostic data. Browser type, device type and error logs, collected automatically to detect and fix issues.
- Contact data. Name, email, company and message, only when you submit the contact form.
- Analytics data. Pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. Collected through Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Session recording
This site does not use session-recording tools.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not sell or share data for advertising purposes.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and similar) to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. They hold a randomly generated identifier, not your name or email. Blocking cookies, or using a browser extension that blocks Google Analytics, prevents this entirely and does not affect how the site works.
Essential storage may also be used to remember basic preferences such as theme. That stays on your device.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with the service providers that help us run this site — our hosting provider, Google Analytics for traffic statistics, and Sentry for error diagnostics — each under their own terms and confidentiality obligations.
Your choices
Enabling Do Not Track, blocking scripts, or browsing privately will reduce the data collected, though some site features may not work as expected. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site you visit.
